Finally got a Jag, time to stop lurking
Hello all,
I spent the last few months reading the forums every day and finally bought a 2010 XKR. Now that I've got the car, I figured it was time to make an account. Thanks to the deep knowledge these forums hold, I feel I was well informed before purchase.
I'm an American, but currently living in the UK - Cambridgeshire area. Fortunately, it's not my first time driving on the left, but I'm still learning to pronounce "Jaguar."
Quick question while I'm here, I'm trying to use the VIN decoder, but all it returns is "This VIN does not appear to be valid." What am I doing wrong? I read the number right off the car.

Welcome to the forums equatorial,
Try this to decode your VIN:
As you've already found your way to the X150 forum, there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
