Post Finally...a kitty of my own!

Hi. My name is Jim and it is a distinct pleasure to be a part of this forum.
I have wanted a Jag since I was 15 yrs old when I saw my first "E" type in '69.
I am 60 now and just purchased my first, a 2004 XJ8, white with tan interior and the standard 4.2. One owner and dealer serviced exclusively for 10 years, 28k miles, scheduled servicing was based on a bi-yearly schedule instead of miles.I searched for a year before buying, researching the car and looking for the right one. Yes I scored. I am fanatic about detailing, I live in NY and don't have a garage. I park on the street. I got double the trade in value because my 2005 Mercury Sable looked almost brand new. I drove my Lil' Kitty home, pulled out my detailing bag, an EMT bag which has loads of cubbies, and commenced to making her pretty. Wow! White really shows the swirls. Well I just want to thank all of the other members in advance for ALL the help I will be needing and for just being one of the select group of people.

Congratulations, Jim,
It's quite wonderful when you find the Right One, isn't it.

Welcome Jim. I see Graham already pointed you to the detailing forum as well. You'll find some fanatics on here when it comes to that subject! I look forward to your contributions.
