I've always wanted a Jaguar, and things finally lined up for me. It's been almost 10 years since I sold my Triumph Spitfire <sob>, so it's nice to be back in the British Motoring family. I picked up a 1996 Vanden Plas for cheap. It needs a ton of work, but that's why you buy a british car

The one thing I miss though, is my Moss Motors catalog that had damn near every part I could ever want, all in one spot.

I'm just tickled to have a project!

One thing that is under-appreciated about British cars is that they keep their owners out of trouble -- mostly, because, we're either working on them, or if we're actually Driving one, we're SO careful with it because we don't want to work on it during good weather.

I'm glad you finally have a project, HC.

Welcome from ElinorB.
