I've always wanted to own a Jaguar XKE roadster and almost purchased one years ago for a price I could afford, but missed it by minutes to another buyer.
Yesterday, I purchased my current dream car (1993 xjs convertible) for a very reasonable price. I've looked at these cars for years, but really never found one in my price range, until this past weekend.
The body is a little rough and it needs a little going over mechanically, but it looks beautiful in my eyes and drives, shifts and stops, so I can drive it while I make the little adjustments as needed.
I'm sure I'm going to be checking this site for repair information and help. My first request is, is there a jaguar club or group in the Chicago area that I could get in contact with.
