Default First ever forum. First ever Jag

Just bought an X-Type poverty pack. 2.1L FWD. Never driven one before nor wanted one. But an 82 year old in a Jag wrote my daily drive off while on the way home from work, and as a joke I test drove one while shopping for my new commuter (at the angst of my father), and subsequently drove out of the car yard with it that day. Im 26, and still have a V8 in the driveway for the weekend although admittedly it hasn't left there since I bought my Jag 2 months ago. Respect to all of the Jag loyalists. Its an amazing car. I thought it best to sign up for some tips as it has already had a lot of work required that has cost a fair bit in repairs ( thanks to a dodgy dealer) and nobody round me seems to know much about them. So I may need to rely on the Jaguar community from now on...
