Looking to maybe purchase an XF-R. But for now I'm just researching to see what Mods and reliability issues if any exist and what people do not like about there XF, XF-R.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum.

The XF section will help with your research.

Just remember it is a forum, so you are likely to see information more weighted towards problems.

Welcome to the forum,

The XF section is the place to find out what the owners think.

Exactly why I'm here.

I know all to well the history and rep of Jaguar. Been a member of numerous forums so I like to research before purchasing among other things and see what kind of deals people are getting. What are the notorious problems and what the fixes are and whether I can live with it possibly happening to a car I own.

One of my cars is a 2007 Z06 (FYI the 2006's are notorious for the roof flying off while driving down the highway and '07's have valve dropping issues) and every place was asking 5-20 thousand over sticker but knowing what people were getting as far as deals because of dealers posting/advertising there deals on the Corvettforum not to mention the members themselves, I knew you could get a deal even though I had to deal with the L.A. car buying atmosphere which means if you want a low production or really sought after vehicle and instantly your paying over sticker. I thought I was going to have to go out of state to make a purchase and after I after emailed just about every dealer in California. A Chevrolet dealer in Burbank gave me $7000 off. So these forums are invaluble when it comes to making the right purchase and getting the best deal.
