Hello all,
A new entrant to the Jag world here (Chester, UK), having picked up an '03 4.2 XKR with 58k on the clock and the lovely contrasting cranberry (or red and black, as I thought it was at first) interior.
Having spent many an hour now scouring over every inch and drawing up a list of little questions/things to search for on the forums/jobs to do, sure this place will come in very handy.
As can see (if I've got this right) from the first pic it has already found its natural habitat.... the petrol station.
Already enjoying the Jag experience, definitely gets looks at lights (and few days back a Porsche 911 stopping in traffic to have a nosey). Perhaps a combo of being an XKR with tinted windows and the audible, pretty sure not standard, exhaust growl.
Now just fighting the urge to drive it all the time. Done well of late with exercise and losing weight, don't want to undo all that hard work by driving everywhere. But is sooo hard to resist the temptation. Perhaps the endless polishing will burn some more calories.

Welcome to the forum Sparky77,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
The contrasting interior is quite a rarity. I prefer it to the all black.
Follow this link XK8 / XKR ( X100 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
