first time jag owner from NZ
Hey all.
Gregg heer.
Just a quick note to say I started my foray into jag ownership a few months ago, with an oddity
2002 x-type 3.0L RHD, Auto
The oddity being..
It was manufactured in Sept 2001,
listed as a 2002 model
Warranty didn't start until 31 Jan 2003
Subsequently it is registered as a 2003 X-type in NZ
Amongst a raft of other problems, i am still trying to identify the inlet air blend door actuator on a RHD, so I can get my aircon working.

Welcome to the forum Gregg,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
'Model Year' doesn't match calendar year with Jaguar. The new Model Year is usually introduced around September so several 2002MY X-Types will have come off the production line in 2001. Warranty wouldn't commence in the UK or USA until the vehicle was registered - perhaps the same applies in NZ?
Follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
You can also visit the New Zealand Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/new-zealand-97/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
