First Time Jag Owner in Tulsa, OK
Hello Everyone,
I just picked up a 2000 XJR in Tulsa, OK. I've had over 20 cars and feel like my progression in taste (and influence of a good friend) has lead me to the best car I've ever owned. The XJ is the perfect blend of soul, handling, power, styling and comfort (necessary for the post-apocalyptic Oklahoma roads.) She has been mostly pampered but a little neglected in some areas over 120k miles, but I hope to work out some little faults and have an enjoyable daily driver. I'm replacing the timing chain tensioners next week and am still trying to work out an intermittent starting problem, but otherwise the car is sublime.
I've dabbled in just about every shape and size of car, but my favorites have been a FIAT X1/9 and 1961 Citroen DS, both soulful (and not without their faults.)

Welcome to the forum OKXJR,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the X308 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the USA Southwest Region forum by following this link USA Southwest - AZ TX NM OK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
