First time Jaguar owner, Kansas City, MO. Loving my 2011 XJL!
I once owned a Maserati for 3 months. It was ridiculous ($8000 in parts for a steering rack!), but after it sub-par German interiors were no longer going to cut it, so I looked elsewhere. The XJ is perfect - gorgeous interior (nicer than Maserati), lovely to drive (much nicer than newer BMWs) and reasonable to service (I hope).

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. A Jaguar is never a cheap car to run but will always be a lot less than anything Italian ending in a vowel!
