Default Flagstaff, Az. Hello

Have a somewhat newly purchased 2003 x-type 3.0 awd manual. Purchased in Colorado. Premium fuel(91 oc.) is recommended but in Co. premium is only 89 octane. Can this car be run on 89 with no problems? I use 91 at present. Have no idea how long the car was in Co. Thanks for any info. I will have several more questions I am sure.

Welcome to the forum,

Good to have you with us.
Take a look in the S Type section, there is a recent thread on the octane issue.

You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Hello and welcome. You'll find answers to all your questions here, sometimes more than you ever thought possible There's a good group of regular contributors here, and they'll help you with your questions. Find the X Type section, read through the threads or use the search, and you'll find discussions on octane for sure. It's very popular.

Welcome!

I often wondered why Jaguar stopped making AWD cars, as I loved the x-type and think that they should have continued it along with the AWD.
