I've been lurking on the forum for the past few weeks as I've been hunting my prey (ie, the new jag). Fell in love with the XJL the first time I rode in my brother in law's '16 Supercharged. I'm a 6'6" dude, so the combination of looks, performance and sheer size made me swoon a bit.
I've been a Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep guy for a while now. My first car was a Jeep and have had two Rams, three Charger SRT8s (I moved out of the country twice for a year at a time, I still have my third), and a Jeep Cherokee SRT8. I also ride a Victory motorcycle and have a project truck that my father bought the year I was born (a 1967 International Travelall that was purchased in '77).
Anyway, I picked up a 2011 XJL Supersport this week as I transition into something a little more luxury than functional (truck or SUV) or muscle. Looking forward to picking up some knowledge and advice on managing this beast.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Yes, I was also surprised with I first saw the SIZE of the XJL. Along side my Series 2 it's a Monster!
