Default G'day from "Down Under"...

Hi guys, just joined the forum and really looking forward to sharing information with you....we own a Black '96 XJ6 majestic with a little over 200,000kms on her now (ex Singapore). Recent work includes bonnet, roof and trunk lid repaint (lookin' real good!) interior roof lining replaced (it peeled and fell off!) and some replacement hoses and oil pressure switch to help with the oil leaks...oh..and repaint the rocker cover to suit the clean ( AJ16 3.2L) engine. ...Now a little worried about the engine...IT DOESN'T LEAK OIL!...no problem, going to take it back to the garage on Monday to get the mechanic to loosen something !!...
Cheers !!
Peter and Deirdre.

Welcome to the forum Peter & Deidre,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Oil leaks! You must be remembering the days of the straight six XK engines.

Follow this link XJ X300 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X300 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also follow Clarke's link to visit the New Zealand Region forum

Enjoy the forums.

Ha Ken, they are on the east coast, the mountains will block their view of your white sheet.
