Default G'day from Nth Qld

Hi, just got my first ever Jag, a 99 S-Type 3.0 V6 Auto, & I'm loving it. It's a one owner car with 160K klms on it, which were mainly done commuting it's elderly solicitor owner to & from work. The body work's perfect, as it's been garaged all it's life. & the interior is unblemished too. The engine & transmission run strong & smoothly, but there are a few clunks coming from the suspension. These did allow me to talk a few grand off the price. But after diagnosing it's needs, & pricing everything with genuine Jag parts, I wish I'd talked more off. However after reading the S-Type forum here, & doing some investigative googling, I've managed to shave thousands off my parts bill, & I hope to get the car fully sorted for around the money I talked off the original price of the car ($9K AUD), which will make it a cheap Jag (for here)
So thanks already for the help & savings, in getting my old girl up & running. I'd have probably flipped the car already if it wasn't for the assistance. & I look forward to a long & happy ownership, & interaction with you all.
