Default Gearbox fault and engine systems fault

So i decided to pressure wash my engine and i guess that was a bad move because ever since then the dash reads gearbox fault and engine systems fault and my car runs like crap. It won't accelerate over a few miles an hour and it kicks really hard when i put it in drive. I took the TCM out to see if it got wet but it was dry as can be. What else could it be??? Please help!!

No mention of the beast involved, only that you are in the US.

One the car is identified, there is help.

Good luck.

Hello, Chantel,
I'll bet you don't try to pressure wash your engine again. Modern engines do Not like that as you have already discovered. However, life is a learning experience.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Hello! My 2003 X type is doing the same thing! Ughhh, find anything out? I have all new plugs and coils, new water pump, checked the accelerator pedal and everything looked good in there. Getting gearbox fault and engine fault. Will barely reach 2000 rpm but never go over do to limp mode.
