Default Good Morning Everybody

I just joined the forum. I thought I must because I have been looking at some of the helpful repair post for the past year. It started with how to put a new timing chain in my son's 95 XJ12. We did it in the car! I have always bee a jag fan. years past I owned a 68 XKE convertible, a 74 XJ6L, and most recently a new F Type S in Fire sand orange. My wife and I are currently driving a 98 XK8 convertible. I am getting a 2006 XKR Victory coupe ready for the road. Just bought the XKR last weekend.

The XKR has some faults. The "check rear lights", "Cruse not available" and the airbag lights are on. Looking at the forums for things to try.

Welcome to the forum Burl,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/usa-lower-atlantic-nc-sc-fl-ga-66/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Thank you. I have been out working on my new purchase all day. Trying to get a 06 XKR victory squared away. It has some past accident damage not externally visible. Trying to figure what to do.

Burl,

That's a great current selection of Jaguars. Bet you wish you'd kept the XKE. I certainly wish I'd kept mine!

The line in front of the drivers door is because the door check snapped and it swung all the way open.
I would have kept it if I knew what I know now. But I can say that about most decisions I made 40 years ago.
