How yall doing im josh having a few issues with my new car 2000 S type 3.0 auto. Runs and drives perfect. 130k miles. First is the dreaded battery light. It runs fine after a jump but with some glitching on the dash... then its pretty much dead after it sits for a few hours. Im gonna get the battery tested and recharged tomarrow. It says its from 2014 so i figure with all the electronics i might need to just get a new one.
The next issue is no heat.. ive heard of the heat valve going bad.. any suggestions? And my passenger floor board is wet so im assuming a bad heater core? And god help me do i have to take out the dash to get to the core??
Brakes are there but to the floor. I was told they needed to bleed them. Anything special i should know?
ive got other small things too but i figure i can deal with that later lol. I will be doing any work myself if i can help it. I only paid 1100 bucks for it. Cheap luxury lol

Hello, Josh,
Congratulations on your First Jaguar!
As your cat is now 17 or 18 years old depending on build date (somewhere around 89 in human years), it's not too surprising it has a few hairballs.
Someone will be along soon to direct you to our very active S-type section where members can help you with all those problems.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
