Default Great forum everyone!

Well I am purchasing a 2003 s type 3.0 for $700 today and needs trans repair. The guy said it just started slipping then quit within a couple miles.Nice looking car but a little nervous about all the problems.I am mechanically adept so what the heck.Any and all help would be greatly appreciated as I am entering uncharted waters with a jag.Wish me luck and I am sure we will be chatting. I will let you know how it goes and keep everyone up to date on my venture.Any suggestions on repair let me know.

Welcome to the forums Spl,

Good to have you with us.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.

Good luck and enjoy the forums.

Graham
