Greetings from Central Texas
Hola Everyone, new member here. Wanted to introduce myself to the community and issue you a warning straight outta the box. I have never owned a Jaguar in my entire life and I now seem to have married into one !!! I have a ton of questions ... LOL
I've been on forums before, so I kinda know how all this works and I'll make a solid attempt to find my answers on my own, so please don't reprimand me too badly if I ask a question that's been posted a million times over ! I'm fairly mechanically inclined, I do know a shifter knob from an oil filter, but I'm sure I'll find something on this car that will set me back a couple of paces scratchin my head.
Look forward to chatting with everyone and posting some pics once I get past the newbie stage.

Welcome to the forum Stogey,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can safely guarantee an XJS will have you scratching your head from time to time.
Follow this link XJS - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJS forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link Southwest US - AZ TX NM OK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

Always a pleasure to welcome another Texan aboard, Stogey. Now you may know a shifter knob from an oil filter, how are you at picking an oil filter (or a shifter knob) out of a line-up of "710 filters?"
Not sure how far north you are in Central Tx, but in case your new bride's XJS develops an issue as mysterious and unsearchable as some of our brides can be, you may want to plot out your location in relative to Motorcarman in Decatur and Brutal in Sugar Land to see which is closer. Enjoy the forum!

Thanks for the warm welcome Bro ... I'm located just south of Austin in Hays County. Currently we are using Victors Service Center in San Antonio for substantial repairs to the XJS. Nice shop with several Jag Certified Mechanics on board. A little pricey but I assume all Jag Shops are a little pricey !!!
