Greetings from finland
Hi all.
Short or long intro. About 30 years ago i had a change to sit behind a wheel of ser1 xj6. I fell in love and Friends had to literally drag me out. Few weeks later i bought that car and i had it almost 10 years. Well then..kids...house.. had to sell it. 30 years and Few cars later ,year ago, i got myself 2014 volvo with all the power and goods that were available that time.
Suddenly realised that newish car with cameras and sensors is not making me happy. Then it happend. 2 years of search ended as i found 1996 xj6 4.0L. Colour and interior that i wanted. Sold the volvo after 35 days of owning.
Not many understand me here in finland but this is the car where i feel happy when driving.
When you park your car ,walk 10 steps away and turn just to see what a beauty she is, you know you have car you love.
x300 has been my dream and hope i can drive it years and years. x300 is my dailydriver, bit too compicated maybe but ill manage.
Past year i have done brakes. exhaust. Etc. Also diff repair in my tiny garage.
A week ago i had CNG biogas system installed, ok some broblems to solve there....but anyway.
So now its also eviromentally green.
Hope to get some help here when needed.
atleast you'll have a blast reading my odd english😀.
Best regards.

Hello,
First off, your "odd English" is a Lot easier to understand than some native English writers we get in here!
Second, Why continue to drive a car you don't like if you don't have to?? As we spend so much time in our cars, why not have one that makes us happy?!
Third, You are not alone in walking 10 steps and looking back at your Beeeautiful Jag! MANY of us do just that!
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
