Greetings from Florida
Hello everyone,
About two months ago I got my first Jag, I have been wanting to get one (especially since my Grandfather used to have one I had very fond memories of it) for quite some time but many deals fell through and many cars disappointed. Nonetheless, I managed to find an X358 that got really close to my perfect spec. Black on Black, southern car with the cooled seat option and no accidents the only thing I wanted that I did not get was the supercharger, sadly every XJR I looked at disappointed. My XJ8 was not only extremely clean but it also had an Arnott coil spring conversion already done and it was very well priced. So I pulled the trigger and I have been happy ever since.
I must say so far my ownership has not been without issue, but I have been able to solve every little problem (but one) by myself and I would lie if I said that I didn't enjoy fixing things here and there,
Anyway here are a couple of pics of my 2008 XJ8

Hello, Christian,
Congratulations on your new BLACK Jaguar! (I *Love* BLACK cars!)
As for disappointment not getting a Supercharged car, I can tell you from personal experience that all the extra power in the world is Useless if the suspension is the least bit hinky and you can't control it at a whim; a mere thought; like the car reads your mind. Of the two options, I think you have the right one.

Thank you, definitely the most sensitive of the 2 options. especially considering how bad XJRs around were. Hopefully, in the future, I can get both.

That is 100% true, I do have and have had "fast cars" so far I feel my Jag is a nice break from the loudness and harshness of my other vehicles and even though my XJ does not have a SC I feel the power is more than adequate.
