Default Greetings - goldfinger

Greetings everyone,
My name is Bob Gold, I live in Escondido, California and my car is a 1998 Jaguar VDP with 159,000 miles on it. I'm the forth owner, bought it from a fellow in Las Vegas, Nevada a few years ago.
I had to do the chain tensioner total replacement and she's behaving herself now. (More or less) I'm having to replace the front upper shock bushings, and I've got to fiddle with the float in the water reservoir so the warning light goes out.
When I did the tensioner job I also replaced all the water hoses, installed a rebuilt water pump with a metal impeller, replaced the plastic thermostat housing and thermostat with an aluminum one. About $1,600 in parts at wholesale.
Right now I have some more problems to deal with, a whining in the left rear which I suspect is wheel bearings and I have to take the ABS apart and check for bad solder joints. (I've seen the fine tutorial on this site to do this)
Well, that's all for now,
Bob Gold
