Greetings from Hartland, Wisconsin
I'm driving a 2005 XKR- Pacific Blue with parchment, convertible. All mtce. done by Jag. At Road America in Elkhart Lakes, WI in the open vintage race I saw a couple other Jags with racing stripe pairs going down the middle and a contrasting color going diagonally across the bonnet. Is this a typical race scheme for a Jag? If so, I'll consider painting the stripes on. Secondly, I need a new growler emblem on my front bumper. I bought one from Jag for $160.00. They are telling me it costs $250 to install it because you need to take the front bumper completely off. Can that possibly be true?

Welcome to the forum Arland,
Good to have you with us.
Do you have a pic of the paintjob you have in mind?
Sometimes what looks good on the track doesn't transfer well to the road.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
