Default Greetings and hello! New member with an 03 STR

Hi fellow members, just today I traded my 2009 Nissan 370Z in for a 2003 S-Type R. It has 65k miles on it and is in pretty good shape. I will admit I am a bit spoiled coming out of a much newer high performance car. Unlike a lot of people I had a lot of equity in the Z and was able to trade it and a small amount of cash in for the Jag which I will own outright. I loved my Z and didn't have any problems with it except for an incessant rattle.

It has a clean car fax and was a local car in the area. Prior to purchase I took it to a euro mechanic where he plugged it in to his scanner, took it for an extended test drive and then put it up on the lift. Overall he was very impressed with the car and thought it would be a good vehicle. Everything seems to work except for the outside air temp which continually reads 50. Not sure if that's an easy fix or not. It also seems to have a sort of irritating humming noise when on the throttle at all, it doesn't matter how much load the engine is under. Maybe somebody can help me with that. It stored one code, it was P1254 or "throttle valve spring malfunction." it seems to run fine and it does not have any lights on in the dash. Anybody know about fixing that? The tech said it has been stored for 40k miles!

The car has good front rotors, but I'm thinking of adding some newer cross-drilled rotors. It also could use two new wheels. One is slightly bent and the other is curb rashed. Any idea where I would find them at a fair price?

I look forward to learning about my new family member and meeting the members here.
