Greetings from Illinois
Hi everyone-
We are relatively new to the forum, have posted a few times with great assistance!
My wife's new baby is a 71' xj6, 4.2, Black and Tan, with 34k original miles, with original paint (except for one small area on the drivers door where the mirror used to be), but it was done in 71 at the dealer. Car was in storage since 1980 indoors, so going through everything and dealing with the typical issues. It didn't run at first, but it does now!
I have photos posted under the classic xj6 s1 section, and for someone, I cannot post any more than two from my phone.
I will post what I have done and learned (with photos of course).
Thanks,
Paul

Hello, Paul,
We have among us a few Serious Series I fans, I like the Series II myself. LOL
I'll look for you over in our play pen, which it sounds like you already found.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

PS. You might want to check your camera, I think the positional stabilizers might be faulty.

Welcome to the forum Paul,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
