Greetings from Louisiana
Greetings All!
I'm new to this site and I'm the proud new owner of my very first Jaguar - 1997 XK8 convertible. I bought it from an acquaintance in California against the advice of everyone I know who thinks these cars are "junk". I disagree. I love my them always have. I know they can be high maintenance but I don't care. I think they are a beautiful machine.
Before I purchased the vehicle I read many post on this site to see what type of problems they normally have. This site helped me in my decision to buy the vehicle. I couldn't be happier.

Menaya, welcome aboard. I'm not sure Jags are any more high maintenance than any other vehicle, the just need to be maintained, just like any other vehicle. High maintenance may be describing the high cost of parts but that is the reality of low production number vehicles.
Enjoy driving by the naysayers with a wave and a great big grin on your face.
