Default Greetings from Minnesota

Please allow myself to introduce .... myself. 2002 x-type owner, 2.5 auto in british racing green. Needed an AWD car for the "better half" to drive during our lovely winter months since the Escalade was just getting to expensive to drive. The x-type fit the bill, I got the AWD she needed and she got the styling she wanted. Plus she fell in love with the cool "flippy key". Yes, it was the key that sealed the deal. Great to find this forum since I do 90% of my own repairs/ maintenance. Being a service tech (not automotive, even though I have had some schooling) its just in my nature. I just don't like other people touching my stuff.

Happy Easter!

Welcome to the forum Don,

Follow Charlie's link to the X-Type section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Hi Don:
Welcome to the forum and greetings from the Midwest Region. Happy Easter to you as well! The X-type should do very well in your neck of the woods. I put snow tires on my '94 this year (just took them off yesterday!) and did really well through the winter.

All the best!
Scott
