greetings from socal
I'm a new member, but have been utilizing this forum for tips and advice for a few years now and thought it time I join so I could send a huge thank you to everyone who has been writing those wonderful and useful posts!
Back in June 2014 I acquired my 2005 S-Type Sport 3.0 from a family friend. 30,000 miles later, I find myself viewing these posts here on a regular basis.
Although not a skilled mechanic, I try to be hands on and perform as much maintenance myself to keep my cat running and looking proper, like she was intended to be. The information available in this forum is extraordinary and has given me a strong sense of belonging to a larger community of like minded individuals throughout the world.
I look forward you, my fellow Jaguar enthusiasts, to continue making the Jaguar Experience special, not only for me, but for everyone, so Jaguars can be enjoyed for many years to come.
Jaguars are indeed a rare breed. I hope I can somehow contribute my knowledge and experiences to this forum so I can in some small way pay it forward.
Thank you to the volunteers, technicians, vendors and members for all your hard work to keep this forum active and meaningful!

Hello, Steve,
We like to read how this site has helped Jaguar owners/drivers! That way, they, like you, join us and add to the knowledge and experience here, to the benefit of everyone.
We try to be friendly to everyone, and for the most part everyone here is friendly and patient, as you're already discovered.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Steve,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums and to hear you've been finding useful information here.
I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
