Greetings from Sweden, tinkering with neglected Daimler -93
Hi all, I just now came across a Daimler 4.0 (XJ40 era) -93 in need of some fixing up. Self levelling is an issue to resolve and some conditioning after it sat on an owners lawn exposed to the elements for the three recent years.
My first Jaguar was a Series 1 XJ6 4.2 -72 back in 1980 that I had for 10 years, then a X300 3,2 -95.followed by a 2003 L322 Range Rover. And now this low budget fix up project. Next month I have a nice Range Rover LSE -93 coming in that I hope to preserve and be a keeper of. I am attracted by this type of endangered species of british vehicle production. I also have a background in tinkering with the jaoanese 3-cyl GT750 motorcycles (kettles in UK lingo) and have a nice such bike also. I have been member of the Swedish Jaguar Club since 1980.
