Smile A Happy New Owner

Hello!
My name is CJ and I am an absolutely happy new owner for a 2017 V6 Jaguar F-type in British Racing Green. I traded in my Subaru BRZ for the Jaguar less than a week ago and am beyond thrilled.
I am an engineer and currently reside in Nashville, TN.
I can't thank the forums enough already, you have helped immensely with getting to know my car quicker and better than just reading the owners manual.
Looking forward to continuing to learn and fall even more in love with the Jaguar.

Welcome to the forums CJ,

Same colour as my XK. I think it looks superb on the 2 door Coupes and is rare.

I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. You can also use the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...rn-midwest-67/ to find other members in your region.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello, CJ,
Congratulations on your new F-type Jaguar!
Jaguars do this to people. You never hear that someone has fallen in love with their new Toyota Celeca, do you.
But Jaguar? On Yeah!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

1974 celica gt 18rg JDM 335 HP
1974 Celica
As an owner of 3 Jaguars including 2 supercharged XJR models I totally agree with you that there is no feeling like that of a jaguar, they are my favorite car of all time. I've owned a Z06 Corvette with 650 hp , and several badass muscle cars , but I have to laugh that you picked Celica out of all the cars to use as a negative example to compare with the feeling owning a Jaguar. Lol
. I know my celica was not your average under powered Toyota . But it did give an awesome feeling putting 335 dynoed HP to the rear wheels of a super light classically style nippon sports car.
. Of course I am poking fun at the comment and if I owned a new F model in BRG I would be having that great jag feeling all over again also.
But just for the record, some Celicas are pretty cool too. Lol. But to agree with you more than argue. Jaguar is the total package!
