Exclamation Heater blows cold air

Just bought 2002 jaguar s-type 68k that has few issues.

For some reason heater blows cold/warm air when heater settings set to max temperature. In the same time engine temperature stays in the middle.

Can u help me figure out what is wrong with my jag and how I could fix that.

First you should check your coolant level. Also please fill out your info so we know what motor your car has.

Was this a problem before the flush? You could have an air pocket trapped in the system and might need to bleed it.

lady that sold Jag to me said that her mechanic checked the car and he said that she need to replace water pump. i check water pump was working fine. BTW while i was troubleshooting cooling system i discovered that thermostat was missing and expansion tank was leaking. So i got whose things replaced and i flushed the system.

interesting part is that on cross-pipe release plug cooling is hot but on the heater release plug is warm.

jag-pilot, again I will ask that you post all technical questions and fixes in their appropriate section.

I moved your last post to the S Type section, as this is the introduction section.

Thank you
