Default Hello

Hi,
My name is Tolgahan (Toby for those who cant say Tolgahan)

I'm 23 years old dude, just completed the first year of Motorsport engineering at UWTSD Swansea. I love this course.

I have 2 part time jobs soon to be 3.

My car list:
1st - 106 gti
2nd - 206 1.4
3rd - Ford Scorpio 2.3 < Me, mam and dad traveled from Cardiff to Istanbul and back in this with no issues and 120 mph on the autobahn for hours while fully loaded with stuff. highly underestimated car.
4th - Rover 25 2.0D
5th - Toyota supra 3.0 TT < Regretting I sold this
6th current - Jaguar XK8 Convertible 4.0

The Jag has full service history and has been garaged all its life when not in use. 72K miles. 2 previous owners.
My plans for the jag is to make it a GT car capable of being able to hold its own when I travel all over Europe next summer.
Take back seats out, fit extended range fuel tank, tools and service parts compartments and i'm looking into building a boot rack (roof rack for the boot, as its a convertible) to carry a spare wheel, but i'm sure that will have its own complications.

Thanks.

I probably wouldn't be able to say Tolgahan correctly (even though spelling it is easy) so I'll call you Toby as you suggest.

With that fleet of cars I can see why you need 3 part time jobs!
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

No probs ElinorB,
I've sold all the others, it was my car list starting from 17 years old to now. I'm only left with the XK8 and a train card at the moment, saving some money for my little adventure...plus I cant sit still for too long is why the 3rd job is wanted

Thanks for the info, I'll get right on it.
Need to sort out a few little things like a hand brake cable as i've snapped mine trying to park on a hill and it wouldn't hold, a common problem as ive read.
