Hello
Hi folks
My name is Richard and I own a dark blue 2006 XK with a caramel interior, engine 4.2l. I bought it second hand about 18months ago with about 64000 km on the clock. Have had to do usual things like get the brake pads replaced. But had a couple of other issues such as a pedestrian impact sensor failing, the Bluetooth module rebooting the main console (will post what I did there in the XK forum) and also had to get the head lining replaced as it deteriorated due to I am guessing heat.
cheers
Richard

Welcome to the forums Richard,
Good to have you with us. I had the same colour combination on a 2007. Over the four years I ran it, it was the most reliable Jaguar I've ever owned. Unusually for a new model, this one was absolutely right from the start and has less regular issues than the 5.0 litre version that replaced it.
I can see you've already found your way to the XK/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
