Welcome new guy, looks like a good list of upgrades/mods you have going. Lots of good help in the XJ section to help you spend your money.

lol h20!!

Yeah, I picked her up on an impulse sale in Seattle now i live in San Diego, she originally came from Huntington Beach.

I've done several complete sound systems in cars and speakers for home/ home theater. My next project is replacing the mid-bass, designing and installing an upgraded cross over for the full range sound, and coming up with a sub woofer solution for the low end.

So far as I can tell there is not much space off the rear deck for a "real" sub. I've found a couple of 6 x 9 speakers but I haven't taken the Theil and Small parameters off the OEM sub speaker yet so I haven't been able to do any comparison modeling with data. Another system that Ive done previously had the sub firing through the arm rest area of the back seat so thats another idea, but i still haven't truly explored that option yet.

yeah thats been just one of my many hobbies. making audiophile speakers for both home and auto.... made a 3 piece home system thats 91.5db, 16-18.5 khz =/- 1.5 db. it will play to 125db then the tweet protection circuit in the cross over kicks in. I get most of my stuff from parts express!
