Default Hello...

Just drove the car off of the docks last week. 2011 J spec XFR in Ultimate Black / London Tan.
Currently in Yokosuka, Japan
I bought mine through the Jaguar military dealer in the UK ... a bit more hassle but a GREAT price for a J spec.

wow, an xfr, I bet she's nice! Any pics to show her off a bit? I'd like to know (and see) what the J spec actually is... RHD perhaps?

Welcome to the forum, that's a little different, normally in the UK high end cars are imported from Japan.

So do we get to see some pics of your beastie?

I will take some shots when I can get her cleaned up.

It is RHD but you can actually order the J spec in either RHD or LHD. I'm finding little differences as I compare the Euro English manual and probably the US spec version.

Like the hood release is on the Left hand side for my RHD model. I also have some kind of an alarm sensor attached to my passenger dashboard which I have no clue what it does. I'm waiting for the TV receiver to be added by Jaguar Japan. I can't find the garage door controls, I don't think I have them. I got an emergency triangle but no strobe light or first aid kit. All of those are usually standard equipment for all Japanese cars.

Welcome to the forum,

Post the pics when you can, in the meantime have fun, there's some great driving roads once you get into the country.

Figured it out.
Those are temporary Japanese tags... I've still got a lot of paperwork and testing left before I get the real tags. A lot of hassle but worth it. The J spec models from the dealer here costs $130K plus the 10% tax. I'm almost ashamed to tell the dealer here how much I paid.
