Hello
Back in the 70's a brother and I were british sports car nuts and owned everything from a MGA, MGB, MGB GT, MG Midget,Triumph Spitfire, Austin Healy Sprite, Austin Healy 3000, Jaguar XK140 and a Jaguar XK-E type, I may be forgeting one or two.
Family life came along and the cars are long gone. Now 30 years later and never getting that E Type out of my mind I started looking for a XK8 and a way to justtify it with my wife.
We became grandparents this summer and my wife came to me complaining she tried to fit a baby seat in her 06 Mustang convertible and it wouldn't fit and she was not going to give up her pony car. She continued by saying she knew I have been looking for a XK8 and why not be more practicule since we have a sports convertible already and get a XJ8. 3 Months and 100 miles away I found my jag at a dealer that sold the car to its first and only owner, a 2007 XJ8 wth 53,500 miles and show room clean.
It was being sold under Jags Pre-Owned Certified Program. I know i paid a bit of a premium in price but after owning so many british cars and knowing how problematic they could be I felt the almost 2 years in factory warranty that came with it was well worth it.
Now 4 months and 5,000 miles later I am happy to say, I love my Jag and happy I found this site.
Hope to talk with ya'll
