Default Hello

Hello, I'm from Southern Wv. The middle of Coal Country. Osama Obama has set his sights on deleting our means of providing a life to the ones who follows us.
I've been in love with Jags when I saw in Popular Mechanics in 1963 where the XKE outperformed the 327 Vette. Have owned TR-4, Stag, TR-7, MG Midget, 83' XJ6, just restored a 1963 Triumph TR6 Chopper w/springers, ridged 650, 1967 BSA 441 Victor, and my present 1994 XJ40.

Welcome to the forum 1951sms,

You certainly like your English cars. Great roll call of past models you've owned

For your current XJ40, follow this link XJ40 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJ40 section for help, advice and information.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the US Mid Atlantic Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/mid-atlantic-md-va-dc-de-wv-65/ to find other members in your region. (that's provided I've got my geography right!)

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Two ways to find other members in your Region:

1. post in the Mid Atlantic Region section (see link in post #2)
2. search the Community list

To search the Community:
click on the Community button on the black menu bar
click on Members in the submenu (arrowed in red in the screen shot)

Hello-community-1.jpg

click on the down arrow next to Search Members (arrowed in blue in the screen shot)

then click on Advanced Search (arrowed in red)

Hello-community-2.jpg

enter the details in the Location box and click on the Search Now button at the bottom

Hello-community-3.jpg

this returns a list of all members in e.g. Virginia. Click on an individual member's name to show their details.

OK, I've just checked my power loss and it is 73 V.ma between disconnected Neg- post and the Neg- cable. That is when the fuse is pulled. With fuse in it is full battery voltage

Mark,

I've moved your Battery Drain thread to the XJ40 section where it should get a better response from members with the same model. Here's the link to it.

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...y-drain-88145/

You should add this additional detail about the power loss there.

I've also replied to it there to bump it to the top of the threads to get it more viewing.
