Happy New Year from KY!
Purchased a 2005 XJ Super this fall for my Wife (but I get to drive it too). We have always admired Jags and decided to go for it. A new XF or XJ was not in the budget but I did find this XJ Super on-line down in Atlanta, worked a deal, and picked the car up.
Shakedown run from ATL - Lexington was uneventful and fun as I got familiar with the car.
Car seemed to be fairly well maintained by Jag interval schedule (bit too long for some intervals for my liking - 10k oil change intervals)but I am getting it "caught up". Car had 54k on it when I bought it,now has 57,000.
Am enjoying and appreciating the forum as it is helping us get acquainted with the car and more importantly, fix a few items that have popped up. The wife is enjoying "driving" again and is happy to have 400 ponies on tap. Since we have 2 children, they are enjoying the amenities in the back seat area (dvd, seperate heat/ac control, heated power seats, etc)
Trying to chase down why one dvd screen does not work and will see what I can find here. Also have a navi system that can't seem to find itself so will try to find some answers here too. Otherwise we are enjoying the car and appreciating all of its capabilities (and power too) : ()
Keep up the great work on this forum and the sharing of information. Will post pics of the car soon.

Hello, and welcome to the forum. You have a really upmarket version there !
Is there a disc in the NAV unit in the trunk ? This holds the map info. I have never had any problems with my Nav. Although I don't use it much for route guidance, it always tells me where I am and displays the right map on the screen.
Also have a navi system that can't seem to find itself so will try to find some answers here too

Appreciate the warm welcomes from everyone and for the "all access" upgrade.
I have not checked on the disc and will be highly embarassed if that's all it is - but then again, that will be a great problem if it is something that simple.
Thanks again all, look forward to getting to know more people and to also learn more about the "Super Kat" as we have named it.
