Unhappy Hello All new to forum.

Hi All

HELP PLEASE!

I have had a 2004 S-Type 2.5V6 sport for about 8 months, had it converter to duel fuel (petrol & Gas(LPG)) in May at 55,000miles, Now on 63,000miles it runs ok on petrol and gas when warm, but from cold it runs lean and stalls on petrol, If I keep the revs up at @1200rpm for a few mins it will be ok. I get P0191 code only & have now changed the following parts: Fuel pump(only one fitted on this car), Fuel filter, Fuel rail pressure sensor, Rear control module & have also tried new map senor & MAF. Something is telling it to stop pumping the fuel as the pressure in the rail just dies away. The voltage to the fuel pump cuts off. I have checked almost every wire and connection, relays, fuses and inerta switch all seem ok! I have checked all air hoses for leaks including under manifold. I have read through various posts trying to find a cure to no avail. Any ideas from your collective wisdom would be hugely appreciated. With thanks in advance Rob

Welcome to the forum Rob,

You're certainly having a trying time with the S-Type!

As you've already been searching for the solution, follow Jamey's link to the S-Type section and post the question about your IP Sensor fault to the experts there.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Please also visit the UK Region section UK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in this country.

Enjoy the forum.
