Default Hello all. New member here

Hi to all. I'm thinking about getting a 1996-2006 jag XKR or xk8. I'm looking forward to learning from all you owners what I should know as I start shopping. Feel free to chime in with any advice. -thanks
Ps I want the 390hp version. That may narrow my choices. Also I'm not crazy about the idea of an automatic tranny.

Coupe also. Not convertible. Any idea what I can expect to pay for those specs?

Welcome to the forum Typhoon320i,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums. The Coupe is rarer in the US and a manual transmission is a very costly conversion. I'll leave it to US members to advise what you're likely to have to pay as it will be very different from our equivalent in the UK.

Follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the US Mid West Region section by following this link Mid West US - IL IN IA MI MN MO OH WI - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.
