I've got a 2001 VDP with 173xxx miles.
I operate tugs on Puget Sound.
This is a great site that I used recently to fix the no Trac no asc problem. When I've become a full fledged member I'll be thanking Ian65 for his most excellent write-up.
I'm now working on po443 and Fail Safe Mode issues.
The purge valve looks like an easy fix if I can narrow it down to that device and not something else.
For the Fail Safe Mode, I think it may be the brake switch according to some write-ups on here. Time will tell.
It's just too hot to work outside today in the PNW, it'll be over 90 today!
I'll be chatting with you all later.

Welcome to the forum capnandy,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
It sounds like you've already found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Northwest Region forum by following this link US Northwest - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
