By way of introducing myself I'd have to say that I have been an English auto fan since 1959. In fact, my first Jaguar was a '51 XK120 that I bought in 1959. I supplemented that with a '49 MG TC. In 1960 I bought a '52 MG TD. I sold all of those and bought a '64 E-Type, which I foolishly sold a two years later in stead of putting it into storage when I went to Vietnam for my first tour.

After my second tour in Vietnam returning in '71, I bought a '69 E-Type coupe, which I still own and treasure on a daily basis. In 2001 I acquired an '87 XJ6, restored it and recently sold it.

I bought a '99 XK 8 in '99 and use it to drive back and forth to California to visit my children and frequently to Connecticut to see my eldest daughter's family and especially my grandchildren.

So, I'm sure like all of you, I am a Jaguar NUT!
