Default Hello from California

For years I have admired Jaguars from afar, in particular the LWB Vanden Plas. And now I am a proud owner of a 1999 Jaguar VP. This is my first time joining any vehicle forum. I’m truly excited in learning as much as I can about my dream car.

First order of business it to confirm either through the vehicle's service history, or by removing the cam cover(s) that the primary and secondary timing chains, guides and tensioners have been replaced with the updated versions.

I want to thank Grant, Graham, Jim, Clarke, Norri, ElinorB, and NBcat for your warm welcome and some initial guidance. Looking forward to some great dialogue. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
