Hello from Canada
Hello from Ontario Canada. My name is Chris, I just brought a 2003 Jaguar Type X 2.5 (wifes car ). This is my first time in this type of forum. I've been reading posts and they are very interesting. Look forward to posting more in the future.
Does anyone know where I can get Jag parts online. Looking for Left Front Door Window Waste Seal. I have one web site but it is in England and shipping costs more than the part.

Hi Chris, welcome to the site. There's lots of us Canadians here and in particular many from Ontario.
Can't say that I know of any mail order sources other than in the US, have a scroll through the vendor directory.
Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum - Vendor Directory
I know that many members here speak highly of Nalley Jaguar, but beware UPS brokerage fees at the border. Have them ship USPS if possible.

Welcome to the forum Chris,
Congratulations on your new appointment as chief mechanic for your wife's X-Type.
As you've been post reading already, I don't need to tell you where to find advice and information.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
If Mikey hasn't found Canadian parts suppliers then there's unlikely to be any. I can understand your reluctance to purchase from England as we have a similar shipping and import duty penalty buying parts from US and Canada.
Try posting the specific question about the waist seal directly on the X-Type section. At least this should get you a choice of suppliers and you can get the best overall deal.
