Default Hello from Central Florida USA

I recently aquired a 2003 Xj8 with 30,000 miles. This is my second Jaguar as many years ago I owned a 1995 XJS which was one of my favorite cars.

Welcome to the forum jchet,

And back to a Jaguar.

2003 was a model changeover year with two different XJ8's. Follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 section if it's one of the last of the steel bodies or this one XJ ( X350 & X358 ) XJ6 / XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X350 section if it's the later model. Help, advice and information available for the appropriate model in each tech section.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/lower-atlantic-nc-sc-fl-ga-66/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Jaguar used the name XJ6 for several models between 1969-1997. A similar situation then happened with XJ8 for two different models between 1997-2009.

To make things easier, the factory, dealers and the forum use the factory code X308 for the 1997-2003 XJ8 and X350 for the 2003-2009 XJ8.

So which one do you have?

Graham
