Default Hello from Connecticut!

Greetings from Connecticut... Recently purchased my first Jaguar - 2004 X type 3.0, and I couldn't be happier. Zicron metallic, fairly low mileage, automatic transmission, and kept in nearly immaculate condition. Pictures will follow.

I am curious if anyone here has ever upgraded their Jag to enhance performance, HP. I was considering a new exhaust from Mina, to give it more of a bite, and to add that growl. Thoughts?

Also, if anyone here is from the Middlesex County area of Connecticut and knows of a decent Indy garage that does work on foreign cars, I would like to know.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new baby! You'll enjoy her with that messy Connecticut winter weather.

I got an 04 X Type 3.0, in Radiance Red, two years ago; I'm here trying to learn as much about her as I can.

Lots of terrific info on here. I'd definitely try to find a Jag tech who works on the side to work on her. Thermo gave me a list of repairs to expect; you can find the post in the X Type section.
