Default Hello everyone, it’s me again.

Hello everyone, it’s me again. I’ve actually been a member for over four years now, but I haven’t logged in for a while now, and the site seems to have forgotten my email address and username. It just seemed easier to create a new user account, so here I am — new name, old me.

My current pride and joy and rolling container of sorrows is a black 2004 Jaguar XJR purchased used in 2014 with 75,000 miles on the odometer for $8,000. Four years and 36,000 miles later, I have bought the car all over again (and then some) after incurring over $9,000 in parts and labor for repairs large and small (and this $9K does not include normal scheduled maintenance). This afternoon I found out another $1,100 will go in the debit column if I elect to replace a broken steering pump, so my arthritic kitty may soon be sleeping in the boneyard.

Over the past four years I’ve gotten a lot of good advice here at JaguarForums.com. If I replace my geriatric Jag with a younger cub, I’m sure I will continue to get lots more valuable information. Thanks!
