Hello everyone. New member.
good evening everyone
new to the forum with my XJ40 and hope that as well as receiving help sometimes, i can be of great help as well.
my names mark, i`m 50 years of age and live in wolverhampton west midlands (U.K).
my car is a 1990 4.0 SOVEREIGN, which i`ve owned since 2009. during this time, it has`nt failed its MOT once and had no advisories. its in solent blue with saville grey interior. its done 130k miles, so has just about been run-in now. it purrrs like a kitten and i love it
i`ve done extensive work on the car, 95% of which is mechanical. everything from replacing lights for better ones, to vee-mounts, suspension parts, engine parts etc etc. i kept a record of every job i`ve done on the car, both photographic and written. i can account for every penny spent, which thus far adds to around 3k. i`ve found it not only a pleasure to work on these cars, but surprisingly easy as well, as long as you have a certain amount of d.i.y knowledge!
anyway, great to be here and i hope i can be of help at some point and enjoy everyones cars.
thanks everyone!

Welcome to the forum Mark,
Great Intro - your XJ40 looks in excellent condition. I had a 1989 in Solent and it's always been one of my favourite colours.
Follow this link XJ40 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJ40 section for advice, information and to post your own contributions. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the UK Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-68/ to find other members in this country.
Enjoy the forum.
Graham
