Default Hello everyone. New member in Indianapolis.

I have owned my '97 XJ6 for about 10 years. I am a wrencher and not afraid to get my hands dirty as I maintain my fleet. The Jag, '01 Audi TT, '02 Chevy Prizm (son), '06 Saturn Vue (wife), and '62 Olds Starfire.
As is usually the case with newbies to any forum, I come here with a question.
Is there an aftermarket or replacement hub assembly for the combined rotor/hub on my car? She is only a baby with 122K miles and needs to have the warp taken out of the rotors. I can't find anyone willing to turn them. I looked through this forum and found one related thread, but it did not specifically answer my question.

Thanks for any help.

Hey Jagboy
There is no combined rotor/hub on the 1996 XJ sedan (front or rear) The fronts have normal tapered bearings and the rear has tapered with a shimmed spacer. The rotors have a set screw and are easily removed with the calipers disconnected from the vertical link or hub assy. You might be better off replacing the rotors if they are near the wear limit. Usually replacements can be found for $40 to $50 each from aftermarket sources.

Welcom to the forum
