Thank you for your welcome and access to the forum.
It's what iI said, my english is... not very good. I ve got now just the Jaguar X350. I had got other else in the recent past.
I sold my Daimler, there's 3 weeks ago, My TVR Chimaera there's 3 months ago and XJ's and XJC some years ago.

The reason why I sold all these cars is that they were in perfect condition but it's too much job to maintain them like this.

My new project : drive quietly my XJ 4.2 and discovering all the electronicals systems and potential problems with this car... and restoring and another Daimler 2.5 that is waiting in my garage.

Sounds like a good idea. How do we organise it?
If Pierre's '19' is his Département he's just next door to me in the Correze

We could meet us but Loire Valley is near 3 hours from home so it will be impossible for me to go there on may.
I live in Treignac (19), 80 km from Brive and 70 km from Limoges.
Where are you from ?
Treignac is a very beautiful village.

Hi Pierre welcome to the forum. You and Steve are fairly close to each other.

I agree, you live in a very beautiful area, spent many happy times 4x4 around your area.

Don't know what I will be doing in May, will know nearer the time. Again distance is maybe an issue for me I'm 500k away from the Loire Valley.

Pierre and Steve, you both live quite close.

Not sure we could get that far down in May as we are there on business and wont get much time off.

Looks like the meet is for two then.

I WILL get to meet you one day Richard. BTW we are now learning French with a teacher who comes round every Saturday.

Pierre - I know Treignac. We were over your way last week in the XK, we treated ourselves to a night + meal in the Chateau de Castel.
I was rather surprised because we took the scenic and very winding route across the Plateau des Millevaches (through Treignac) and the old girl did 10L/100km (28 UK, 23 US mpg).

We live 100 km from Limoges about 20 km from Guéret.
